New exhibition ‘Insightful’ by artist Tineke Porck will be open from 6 March until 6 April 2025 in Portiersloge Groningen.

INSIGHTFUL

Tineke Porck works with an intuitive thoughtfulness. The mastery of form, color and composition is a constant factor. Within a self-imposed limitation, she exploits the maximum possibilities. The result is always surprising and astonishing – at least for the artist herself, but also for the viewer. The works in the “SHIFTS” series are compositions of painted planes and lines held together by a construction on the reverse side. INZICHTELIJK 

Tineke Porck werkt met een intuïtieve bedachtzaamheid. Beheersing van vorm, kleur en compositie is een constante factor. Binnen een zelfgekozen beperking maakt zij gebruik van maximale mogelijkheden. Het resultaat is steeds verrassend en verbazingwekkend – in ieder geval voor de kunstenaar zelf, en ook voor de toeschouwer. De werken uit de serie “SHIFTS” (verschuivingen) zijn composities van beschilderde vlakken en lijnen, die bijeengehouden worden door middel van een constructie aan de achterzijde.
