New exhibition by artist Ada Brokaar will be open from 1 February until 29 February 2024 in Portiersloge Groningen.
About the work of Ada Brokaar
My work is figurative, expressive and with lots of color. I mainly work from observation. The material is usually acrylic, oil and watercolor. These works where created by using techniques such as woodcut and drawing. The work is carried out with a grand gesture. Usually I place human figures in a space or landscape and play with it.
The shapes. expression, color and form play a major role.
I get inspiration from experiences working and staying at the Wadden Island of Vlieland where I often paint outside in nature.
